  • Wildlife talk and gameshow for 3000 children aged 12-15

      Ho Chi Minh City dated 27 Feb 2017 - Gaia Nature Conservation cooperated with Ngo Tat To Secondary School to conduct a talk and gameshow at Ngo Tat To Secondary School, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City. Approximately 3000 students grade 6, 7,8,9 participated in the event to learn about endangered wildlife and situation of endangered wildlife consumption in Vietnam.

  • CONNECT YOUTH TO NATURE CONSERVATION

      Ho Chi Minh City, dated 12 March 2017 – Gaia Nature Conservation launched an annual programme entitled “Connecting youth to nature conservation”. The programme aims to provide youth with adequate knowledge and skills on nature conservation and conservation profession. The programme will also provide opportunities for the youth to take part in nature conservation immediately. In the long run, the programme aims to create a larger and stronger supporting force for nature conservation in the future.

  • Training on composting at school

      Ho Chi Minh City dated 16 Feb 2017 - Gaia Nature Conservation conducted a training course on composting at Saigon South International School (SSIS).

  • Screen wildlife photos from Gaia with compliments

      Dated 11 November 2016 – Gaia Nature Conservation started to gift the audience with the collection of wildlife photos for screen.

  • Teaching wildlife conservation, legislation and job navigation for university students

      Ho Chi Minh City dated 6 March 2017 – Approximately 20 students from the fifth year of Faculty Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, HCM University of Agriculture and Forestry, learned about wildlife conservation and legislation. They also learned to identify appropriate jobs in wildlife conservation.

  • 1000 children learn about endangered wild plants and animals

      Ho Chi Minh City, dated 27 March 2017 – Gaia Nature Conservation cooperated with Binh Tri Dong Secondary School, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City organised a quiz on endangered wild plants and animals. The activity aims to raise awareness of children aged 12-15 years old on the trading situation of endangered wildlife in Vietnam, as well as to encourage the children to take appropriate actions toward wildlife protection.

  • EXTRA-CURRICULUM ACTIVITY ON WILDLIFE PROTECTION

      Ho Chi Minh City, dated 27 March 2017 – Gaia Nature Conservation supported Ba Dinh Secondary School, District 5 to organise an extra-curriculum plenary sesson on wildlife protection for over 900 students from grade 6 and grade 7. The session educated the students on endangered wildlife, situation of endangered wildlife trading and consumption in Vietnam, as well as how the students should take part to help.

  • TRAIN AND CONSTRUCT COMPOST TUMBLERS

      In the beginning of April 2017, Gaia Nature Conservation trained and guided teachers and students of Sai Gon South International School (SSIS) on construction of compost tumblers. This is one activity of the compost project that aims to recycle organic waste and thus mitigating climate change.
